The Gold Project is a video project that is loosely based off of the lucky acquisition of a USSA Gold Pass. I will not have the pass for future years but plan to carry on the idea behind the project this next coming season.
The idea behind the project is to travel as much as possible with a small crew of talented kids and to shoot with the local talent wherever we go. I want to try to get everyone involved who would care to be.
This past season we teamed up with CS Films, a production company based out of upstate New York, to produce a full length ski movie documenting the 2009-2010 season in all aspects. We have spent countless hours gathering footage from Pennsylvania to Maine, and everywhere in between. In the movie we will be covering everything from handrails that you may have driven by a hundred times, to back country terrain hidden miles within the woods.
